VMD120 Pressure relief valve
Within a hydraulic system, the pressure relief valve is a fundamental device to ensure the functionality of its components over time. Its task is to unload exceeding pressure when it reaches the setting value. The VMD120 is a direct acting cartridge valve with metric thread M28x1.5 for flow rates up to 120 lpm (32 gpm) and pressures up to 350 bar (5075 PSI). Its external components are made of high-strength steel and are protected from corrosion by zinc plating. For applications exposed to particularly aggressive corrosive agents (e.g. marine applications), zinc-nickel surface treatment is available. It is possible to protect the setting of the VMD120 valve from tampering by applying a plastic shell to the cartridge.
