VMD160 Pressure relief valve
Within a hydraulic system, the pressure relief valve is a fundamental device to ensure the functionality of its components over time. Its task is to unload exceeding pressure when it reaches the setting value. The VMD160 is a cartridge differential valve with 1" 1/16-12UNF (SAE12) thread for flow rates up to 160 pm (42,3 gpm) and pressures up to 400 bar (5800 PSI). Sizing according to SAE-UNF standards makes it easily interchangeable inside your hydraulic circuit Its external components are made of high-strength steel and are protected from corrosion by zinc plating. For applications exposed to particularly aggressive corrosive agents (e.g. marine applications), zinc-nickel surface treatment is available.
